Do you ever stop to look back over your past life and take note of the changes that God has made in your life? Too often I focus on my shortcomings and failures and I don't stop to thank God for the work that He has done over the past half century. I can't take any credit for this, but I am so very thankful that I am not living in that old house any longer. To be sure, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done, but I rejoice that He has made so many improvements. One day at a time I am not the man I used to be. I want to encourage you today, and each day, to stop and give thanks for the remodeling He has begun, and continues, in your life. And then, let's be a church that shares the confidence we have in God's grace and mercy and His ability to finish the work He has begun in us!
