I’m going to age myself here. I remember a phrase in an old Kenny Rogers song, “you can’t outrun the long arm of the law.” A phrase meant to scare you, to frighten you into giving up, surrendering. From a Christian perspective, the sad thing is this is the vision that many people have of God. Someone hunting you down, out to get you. I don’t know where this idea came from (well, maybe I have a few ideas), but I’m here to tell you its dead wrong. It’s true, you can’t outrun or hide from God and on Sabbath we’ll look at a few people in the Bible that tried to do just. Let’s see how it turned out.

God is hunting you down my friends, in the most wonderful of ways. See you on Sabbath.
