This Sabbath we will explore the next major story in Genesis - the fall in chapter 3. Can you imagine being the Creator, creating a perfect place for your creatures to live and then almost instantly they blow the whole thing up? 

Why would He take such a risk giving so much power to humans - maybe we would have been better off with just a bit less autonomy you could easily wonder. But unlike human relationships the power was given from the start not earned - and if you read the Bible closely you start to see that God never took that power away even after such misuse. 

Rather than spend too much energy speculating on why or how it all happened which the text doesn’t report much, we’re gonna look at the unbelievable good news the story can teach us about who the Creator is and the dangerous freedom He still gives us. We can’t wait to see you this sabbath at Carmichael (Jesus Fort).
