We all like to be rewarded. It's nice to be acknowledged. It's really nice to get paid! Recognition feels good. What do you think God wants you to do with your life? It is humbling to spend time thinking about what His plans might be for me. I think He wants me to be as much like Him as possible and I sometimes shudder as I recognize how far short of that goal I am in my every day life. But then He whispers in my ear, "Let's start today. Let's start this moment and I'll walk by your side every step and if you stumble I'll be there to keep you by my side. I'll never leave you. I'll never forsake you. I'll hold on to you and no one can take you out of my hand." What's in it for me? Eternity with Him!
