Many college courses have prerequisites that you must have taken in order to enroll in an advanced class. So, in order to listen to this week's message you must have listened to last week's sermon, "Hear His Voice." This week we will endeavor to "See His Face." I don't think we can fully appreciate how much God wants us to hear Him and see Him and follow Him and then share what He has done for us. My personal spiritual journey has developed and changed dramatically through the years. But, as I have endeavored to walk with Jesus my vision has become more clearly focused on Him alone. I started my journey seeing Jesus surrounded by "explanations" and "doctrines." While these teachings were certainly valuable I found that in time my vision focused more and more on Him alone and the things I had been taught were still there, but were now in the background. I know that when I finally see Him face to face, that is all I will ever need. Lord, touch our eyes that we may see You clearly.
