This week we conclude our Jonah series with a message from Jonah 3–4 titled, “How’s That Anger Working for You?”

Jonah is one of the most honest books in Scripture. Nineveh repents. God relents. And Jonah resents. The story ends not with resolution, but with a question — a question that reaches far beyond Jonah and lands squarely in our own hearts.

Anger isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet. Settled. Justified. Protected. But God gently asks, “Do you do well to be angry?” In other words, how is that anger shaping you? Is it bringing life? Peace? Compassion? Or is it shrinking your heart?

We’ll explore what happens when God’s mercy extends beyond our comfort zones — and what that reveals about us.

Many of our families will be away this weekend at Leoni Meadows for the family retreat. We are praying for a meaningful and refreshing time together in the mountains. At the same time, we will still gather here for a vibrant and worshipful Sabbath service. Whether you’re at retreat or here on campus, we remain one church family.

If you’re in town, come and worship. If you’re traveling, worship wherever you are. Let’s ask God to search our hearts and expand them.
