A’s Game & Beach Day — July 19

Meet at the church at 9:00 with a permission slip. Go to Ocean beach (bring beach wear) and hang out for a couple of hours. Then visit Land’s End Park and go for a short hike. Afterwards we will have dinner in San Francisco. You will want to bring $10-15 to cover your meal. Afterwards we will drive to the A’s game where they will be taking on the Houston Astros. We will return to the church around 11:00 PM. Cost for the A’s ticket is $20.

High School Ski Vespers — July 22

Meet at Granite Bay Main Beach with your signed permission slip. (End of Douglas Blvd) If you are staying it is $12 to park. IF you are getting dropped off by parents they can drop you off at the beach at no cost. We will be setting up a base camp at the west end of the parking lot near the bathrooms (not near the rental area). From there we will hop onto boats to tube, wakeboard, wakesurf and waterski. Please bring a lifejacket if you have one.

Around 6:00 we will have a BBQ dinner and vespers. Have parent pick you up at 7:30 PM

Surf Trip — August 4-7

Our Annual surf trip. We will leave from the church at 6:30 PM on August 4th and drive to Santa Cruz. Please have your signed permission slip and insurance information when you arrive and eat supper before hand.  Friday we will go and rent wetsuits and boards for those who need them and spend all day Friday and Sabbath at the beach surfing and enjoying God’s nature.
Sunday after breakfast we will head back home and return around 2:00 PM. We will be sleeping in a gym so please bring appropriate bedding and materials to shower in the gym.

If you are renting wetsuits or a surfboard you will need approx $100 for the two day rental. Otherwise the costs for the trip are covered by Youth and Pathfinder budgets. Donations are welcome.
